Support after brain injury that rebuilds confidence and independence
We support people with traumatic and non-traumatic brain injuries to rebuild their lives. From emotional wellbeing to daily routines, we work with each person, their family and local services to create meaningful, forward-looking support.
Every brain injury is different. So is every recovery.
An acquired brain injury (ABI) can be the result of trauma, illness, substance use, or another cause – and it can change a person’s life in an instant. We understand the emotional toll and work with each person to focus on what’s next, not just what’s changed.

You, your family, and the right professionals – working together
Recovery is a team effort. That’s why we build strong, respectful partnerships with each person, their loved ones and professionals like:
- Neuropsychologists
- Occupational Therapists
- Drug and Alcohol Services
- Community Health Teams
- Mental Health Support
Together, we shape plans that reflect real goals – from managing daily tasks to rebuilding identity and motivation.
Support focused on goals, habits and hope
People we support often face new challenges with memory, mood, behaviour or physical health. We focus on what they can do — and help them build habits that move them forward.
Our skilled teams:
- Build strong, trusting relationships
- Use evidence-based strategies
- Motivate people to try new things
- Help people set and achieve personal goals
- Adapt plans to the person’s pace and needs

When the future feels uncertain, we offer strength and stability
Some people with brain injuries may experience distress, self-harm, or suicidal thoughts. Our teams are specially trained and supported by our Mental Health Nursing Team and Head of Forensic Mental Health to respond with calm, compassionate and safe support.
We use proactive planning and trauma-informed care — always led by the person’s needs.
From supported living to independent life
We support people through different stages of recovery — with the ultimate aim of greater independence and choice. Many people we’ve supported after brain injury have moved from supported living into homes of their own.
We never lose sight of the bigger picture: a life that feels like your own again.
