Triple Excellent success in Ty Coch and Ty Newydd 

Following its latest Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) inspection, we’ve been awarded Excellent ratings across all three inspection areas – Wellbeing, Care & Support, and Leadership & Management.  

This outstanding result reflects the passion and dedication of team members, who work tirelessly to help people to live independently, make their own choices, and achieve their personal goals. 

Inspectors recognised that people are supported to experience excellent outcomes and are encouraged to live lives that are meaningful to them. The report highlighted how team members know everyone well, provide personalised support, and ensure individuals are fully involved in decisions about their care. 

CIW also praised the service’s strong leadership, governance arrangements and commitment to quality. Effective safeguarding processes, detailed person-centred support planning and a well-trained, supported workforce were all highlighted as strengths.  

This achievement belongs to every team member who brings our values to life each day, as well as the people we support and their families, whose trust, feedback and partnership help us to continually improve.
