Simon Jones

I’ve worked within Health and Safety and Risk Management for more than 13 years now, across lots of different sectors including health and social care, construction, rail, facilities management and education. Originally, I worked in the police force as police officer/detective but was forced to retire early due to injuries sustained whilst at work.

I have always worked in roles where the safety of people and property is paramount, and I am passionate about proactive risk management without being a ‘hi viz wearing fun sponge’. I am supported here by a wonderful and dedicated team who want to make a difference to the organisation and people that we support.

I am a loyal Liverpool FC supporter, mad indie music fan and spend most of my free time being Dad’s Taxi Service to my kids. Oh, and I am a published author of 2 books available on Amazon under my pen name “The Safety Salesman”.
