Personalised sensory support that puts you first

We focus on helping people live with confidence, choice and independence. Our skilled teams work closely with each person and their network to develop a support plan that may include:

  • Accessible communication tools — from British Sign Language (BSL) to Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Makaton, visual symbols or assistive tech
  • Environment design — tailored for sensory needs and wayfinding
  • Emotional wellbeing — ensuring people feel safe, included and understood
  • Independence skills — from travel, money management, cooking, assertive skills
  • Relationships & community — supporting friendships, hobbies and social life

Specialist teams, trained to make a difference

Our team members receive specialist training in working with D/deaf and Deafblind people – including British Sign Language, trauma-informed support, and communication best practice.

We work with audiology, speech and language therapists, Deafblind specialists and local sensory teams to ensure everyone receives the best possible support.

Dual sensory support that respects each person’s experience

Deafblindness creates unique experiences of the world – so we provide support that is:

  • Individually assessed and led by the person’s preferences
  • Planned with clinical teams, family and advocates
  • Focused on orientation, mobility and communication
  • Designed to promote confidence, safety and quality of lives

Our goal is simple: to help people stay connected, independent, and in control of their own lives.

“Now I can express myself– and people really listen.”

Achieve together didn’t just teach staff to sign – they listened to how I want to communicate. Now I feel part of the world again. Person supported with dual sensory loss
