As Head of PBS and Restriction Minimisation at Achieve together, I am driven by a commitment to improving quality of life, ensuring safe and ethical practice and empowering staff teams to provide compassionate, person centred support.

I am the Founder, Programme Lead and Senior Trainer of PASS+PORT™, a BILD ACT-accredited programme operating under the Restraint Reduction Network (RRN) Standards. With more than 25 years of experience designing and delivering training, I have equipped frontline practitioners with the knowledge, confidence, and values needed to support people safely, respectfully, and in ways that reduce reliance on restrictions.

I serve as one of the Risk Enablement Panel Chairs, specialising in PBS-led decision-making, innovative environmental adaptation, and the development of safe, personalised support frameworks for people with complex needs.

My professional background includes frontline support, home and regional management, assessment and referrals, interdisciplinary collaboration, and specialist behaviour support. Beyond this I have worked in health and medical wards, children’s homes, psychiatric settings, and elderly care—including dementia support.

I have a BTEC Level 5, Undergraduate Diploma, and Postgraduate Diploma in Positive Behaviour Support which couple with my practice-led, evidence-informed approach, allows me to drive raising standards across the sector.

I am passionate about driving positive change—not only for the individuals we support but also for the staff teams who work tirelessly to improve lives.

Outside of work, I love reading, being outdoors, and exploring new places in my campervan. Family is a central part of my life, including my children and grandson who lives in New Zealand.
