Dean’s friend, Serene was diagnosed with Secondary Breast Cancer and has been directly supported by the charity Breast Cancer Now following her diagnosis. Both are passionate about providing support to those charities that have supported Serene during her journey since being diagnosed. Previously both took part in a Mission Mud Run for Saint Francis Hospice in March 2020 where they raised £3,305.

Dean & Serene have started a six month training plan to aim to get in to shape ready to run the 13.1 miles on 3rd April 2021. Their target to fund is over £700 between them but hope to raise more than their suggested target.

Dean by his own admission is a novice runner, making this an even greater challenge, and Serene who is still undergoing treatment is a true inspiration. If you would like to sponsor this incredible pair please do visit their JustGiving page here
