Rosebank Lodge rated ‘Good’ in all areas by the CQC
Rosebank Lodge in Mitcham has been awarded a ‘Good’ rating by the Care Quality Commission, marking a significant improvement from its previous inspection where some areas were rated ‘requires improvement’.
The CQC highlighted in this report that the service is safe, well-led and people we support are treated with kindness and compassion.
The report also noted that communal areas have been redecorated and include a well-equipped sensory room, making the home ‘comfortable and ‘learning disability/autism friendly’ place for people to live’.
Key achievements recognised by the CQC include:
- Achieve together works with people we support to understand what being safe means to them and the best way to achieve that.
- The atmosphere in the home is relaxed and calm
- There is a stable and experienced management team
- The team has excellent working relationships with external partners
- Staff are valued and treated equally and fairly.
Zoe Armstrong, Chief Care and Quality Officer, said:
