PMLD Link and Achieve together working with Campaign 4 Change spoke at the LDE conference about removing the cloak of invisibility that surrounds people with profound and multiple learning disabilities.
Achieve together values including everyone and making things happen and both we and PMLD Link want to ensure that people with profound and multiple learning disabilities are included, together with their families and supporters, and have the chance to share what is important to them.
Someone we support Samir El-Ziftawy took centre stage and assisted by changing the presentation slides using his switch.
The session was very well received with many people making pledges to ensure the inclusion and involvement of those with people with profound and multiple learning disabilities. Together we can help make people with people with profound and multiple learning disabilities more visible and genuinely included.
