Our Residential Homes provide 24/7 specialised support and facilities for adults with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum conditions, and complex needs those who may also have complex needs and challenging behaviours, mental health challenges, are deaf and/or blind.

In all our adult residential care homes, we offer a breadth of activities to give you and your loved ones the opportunity to engage with new experiences. You’ll also be encouraged and supported to become an active member of your local community and enjoy all it has to offer, whether that’s a trip to the local restaurant, becoming a member of a new club or engaging with educational and or employment opportunities.
You’ll also have access to the latest equipment and technology to ensure you can live your life exactly how you wish. Whether you need an accessible bathroom, stimulating sensory rooms, hydrotherapy options, hoists, ceiling tracking to name just a few – we’ll always make sure you have everything you need to make your space your own.

What is residential care?
Residential care is a more supervised support option that gives you peace of mind that you’ll always 24/7 support.
Residential care homes usually accommodate several individuals who each have their own bedroom, but perhaps share communal areas including the lounge, living room, dining space and kitchen facilities. There may also be shared bathroom facilities.
But having 24/7 support in a residential care home doesn’t mean limited independence. We actively encourage everyone we support to live as active a lifestyle as they wish and to achieve their full potential, through participation in the activities that they are interested in.
One benefit of residential care is that there can be a bigger choice of facilities available at the home. For example, some of our residential homes have on-site swimming pools, sensory gardens, rooms and more. There’s also sometimes more scope for social interaction as there are more people living at the home than there might be in a supported living setting.
Who is residential adult care for?
We can help you if you’re an adult over the age of 18, or soon to be, and are looking for somewhere to live that gives you 24/7 support. Here at Achieve together, we’re proud to support adults with learning disabilities and autism spectrum conditions, who may also have complex needs and challenging behaviours, mental health challenges, are deaf and/or blind.
How much do residential care homes cost?
To access a residential care home, you’ll need to consider how you’ll fund your support. You should speak to your social care worker and/or healthcare providers about this as they’ll be able to work with you to agree on what funding they can provide you with.

Our homes offer specialised services, too. We partner with many local and national organisations and experts to create your own team of dedicated professionals. This can include language and speech therapists, dementia experts, support for end of life and specialist providers for people with profound and complex needs.
