Acquired brain injury (ABI) encompasses various forms of brain injury sustained post-birth, including those resulting from infection, illness, oxygen deprivation, or head trauma as a result of an accident or assault.

With over 25 years of experience, Achieve together is a leading provider of specialist support and accommodation for people with an acquired brain injury.
We support with the rehabilitation of people with an acquired brain injury, who may present with co-morbid challenges in life such as secondary mental health conditions, substance and/or alcohol misuse, difficulties managing their emotions, self-harm and/or suicidal ideation.
People are supported on their rehabilitation journey with a multi-disciplinary approach with support from local health services, as well as accessing Neuropsychology, Occupational Therapy and/or Sports Therapy as agreed with each person and funded separately.
Focus for each person is to develop a coproduced plan of support with them which seeks to empower the person in all aspects of their life including family/friend relationships; safe management of emotion; boosting esteem and confidence; overcoming addictions; treatment of mental health conditions; improving functional skills. Our dedicated and skilled support team work in a unified way with the person, and involved multi-disciplinary team to develop trusting relationships and rapport, working towards SMART goals, at a pace the person is comfortable with, to seek to move on to more independent living.
