Sharon Ford
North Region
Sharon is Operations Director for our North Region and brings with her valuable expertise and over 30 years of experience within the social care sector. Not only does she hold a diploma in Social Work (DipSW) but is also a fully trained Counsellor.
In my previous role, I worked for a charity supporting people with deafness and hearing impairments. Through this, I developed skills including British Sign Language (BSL), and I have extensive experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.
It’s been incredibly rewarding to work in this sector and to see how it has developed over the last few decades. I love seeing how person-centred approaches, creativity and opportunities for involvement can transform people’s experiences and how that gives us the chance to keep improving.
