Introducing the Big Plan for Co-Production

As part of Co-Production Week 2025, Achieve together has unveiled it’s Big Plan for Co-Production

What is co-production?

Co-production is a collaborative approach where people we support and team members work together as equals. It recognises the value of lived experience and actively involves people we support in shaping the support and services they receive.

In co-production, everyone’s ideas, skills, and knowledge matter – whether they come from professional training or personal experience. Together, we co-design, co-deliver and co-evaluate initiatives, projects and processes within our organisation, to make sure the support we provide truly works for people drawing on it.

The Big Plan

Campaign 4 Change members took part in a series of surveys, focus groups and planning meetings to establish the importance of co-production as a way of working, their ideas for reaching this goal within Achieve together and in wider  collaborations.

Through these surveys and focus groups, people shared why co-production is important to them, and so the Big Plan was born.

The Big Plan  will embed a culture of co-production across Achieve together  that puts people’s voices, choices, and rights at the heart of everything. Take a look at it and let us know what you think!
