West Dean is built around warmth, belonging and meaningful everyday experiences. The home offers more than just a place to live, creating a space
where people feel valued, comfortable and truly at home. The team focuses on individual choice and shared experiences, encouraging people to be involved in daily life, from cooking together and playing board games to themed events, movie nights, outings and community activities.
West Dean is a happy home where people can enjoy companionship, laughter, routine and the freedom to be themselves. The team takes time to understand each person’s interests, preferences and goals, so support is always personal, respectful and meaningful.

A safe and supportive place
West Dean a sixteen bedrooms home offers comfortable, homely facilities that help people feel relaxed and included. The home has some ensuite rooms and wet rooms, a communal lounge, art room, kitchen and Wi-Fi for the people supported. There is a lovely garden area, giving people space to enjoy time together or relax outdoors. With a mix of private and shared spaces, West Dean supports everyday choice, creativity and connection.

West Dean is based in the heart of Lincoln, with good links to the local town, public transport and the motorway network. The train station is a quick 15-minute walk from the home, with direct trains into Peterborough and Doncaster taking just over an hour, and multiple bus routes close by.
Lincoln has a lovely mix of historic and contemporary sites, including Lincoln Cathedral, Lincoln Castle, Steep Hill and Brayford Waterfront. There are also shops, pubs and cafés to enjoy, as well as green spaces like Boultham Park, where people can take a quiet stroll, enjoy a picnic and watch the wildlife. Those living at West Dean can also enjoy bowling, cinemas and live entertainment at the Theatre Royal.
