About this home

Thoughtfully designed homes for independent living

Ty Golff is a warm, welcoming residential home for adults with learning disabilities, autism and other neurodivergent conditions. People may present with complex communication difficulties, sensory processing issues, behaviours which may challenge or secondary mental health conditions. Set in a rural North Wales location with views over the Dee Estuary, the home offers a peaceful and nurturing environment where people are supported to develop their life skills and independence.

The home is based in a small, homely property with four bedrooms, a lounge and dining kitchen. There is also a small sensory room available for people to use. People supported and their families are actively involved in every step of person-centred planning, and the home has received positive recognition from CIW for the high quality of care provided. Ty Golff is also supported by the Regional Clinical Team, ensuring holistic and responsive support for each person.

Lifestyle

Everyone living at Ty Golff takes an active role in shaping their own support and daily life through person-centred planning. Each person’s development programme is tailored to support their goals across life skills, communication, social understanding, self-awareness, and increasing independence.

There are ongoing learning opportunities, with support to achieve AQA Entry Level Certificates and accredited qualifications like ASDAN. Workshops in drama and music help to develop communication and confidence, with opportunities to apply these skills in community settings.

People can also explore practical work-related experiences in fields such as administration, retail, and construction.
