What we offer
A safe and supportive place to call home
Allt y Cham is a lovely old 18th-century farmhouse which, despite its recent renovation, has maintained many of its original features. This charming farmhouse is beautifully well presented and has been restored into three self-contained buildings: The Farm House, The Coach House and The Stables, with ample parking, gardens and outbuildings.
The Farmhouse:
The main house is full of charm and character and is cosy, warm and welcoming. Downstairs there is a central lounge/diner and a fitted utility and shower room. On the first floor, there are three double bedrooms, all with vaulted and beamed ceilings.
The Coach House:
Another beautifully renovated home with an open plan kitchen/living/dining room which is centres around a stone fireplace. On the first floor are three double bedrooms, all with vaulted and beamed ceilings and two attractive bathrooms.
The Stables:
As with the rest of the property, The Stables is beautifully presented with a lounge/diner and a separate kitchen/living/dining room. Again offering three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a W.C. The Stables has an elevated position, which enhances the lovely views outside and a woodland backdrop.
We’re not just participants. We’re planners, presenters, and leaders.

Lifestyle
The people living at Allt y Cham are active in the local community. They visit the local ‘Silver Screen In’, which is for people specifically with learning disabilities and/or autism.
Many go to the local Tennis centre, where they participate in sports such as tennis, rounders and cricket. They have also started rock climbing, which is an amazing achievement.
Day trips to local towns and Swansea are always a big hit!
The local council have created some really good initiatives for people with learning disabilities. One of these is ‘Bike Ability’, where people can hire all sorts of bikes, there are tandems, bikes with an area to put wheelchairs, arm-powered bikes etc. The idea is to open cycling up to all, to be fully inclusive.
