About this support setting

Thoughtfully designed for independent living

This supported living home in Merton supports adults with learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions and associated mental health problems. The aim of the home is to reduce dependence on support and provide the necessary skills for people to thrive independently both inside and outside of the home so that they might then be able to move on to greater independence in the future.

People are supported 24 hours a day through a person-centred planning approach, which is tailored towards individual needs and focused on outcomes.

Each person is encouraged to take part in a wide range of activities in order to enrich their lives and increase their independence. Additionally, people are supported to identify and maintain any education placements, volunteering and/or work experience. Skilled team members work with people, healthcare professionals and family members in order to provide the best support.

This home’s profile number is 417.

What we offer

A safe and supportive place

This home has been developed to provide a living environment which more readily reflects a transition. The home is a five-bed purpose-built house with lift access to all floors and laundry facilities, which would be suitable for people with mobility difficulties. The home is a bright and airy living space.

There are communal areas for socialising, including a large living room and kitchen. There is a spacious garden where social activities and events take place, especially during the summer months.

Situated in Sutton, South London, the home is a short walk from the town centre, where a wide range of local community facilities can be found, including colleges, work opportunities, social clubs, and leisure facilities. Sutton has excellent train and bus links to nearby towns and central London.
