Thoughtfully designed for independent living
A supported living home for adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and autism spectrum conditions, this home provides people with appropriate accommodation and support to suit their individual needs mapped out with each person using our person-centred planning approach.
Our outcome-focused support encourages the development of life skills. We work with people we support to encourage integration within their wider community, and with family members regarding emotional support, and activities. What we offer
A safe and supportive place
This home is an attractive and spacious detached property. There are four ground-floor en-suite rooms with wheelchair access and two further en-suite bedrooms on the first floor, which have their own kitchenette.
There are communal spaces for socialising, including a lounge, modern kitchen and a large garden with a seating area and patio where a lot of leisure activities take place, especially during the summer months.
The home is ideally located close to local amenities, including a large park and shops. There are also good transport links to Manchester which has great facilities.
We’re not just participants. We’re planners, presenters, and leaders.

Lifestyle
People are supported by the team to take part in a range of leisure activities in order to increase social skills and confidence. This includes activities such as arts and crafts, day centre activities, gardening, sports, cinema trips, eating at local restaurants and any other activities people wish to participate in.
This home is suitable for adults who are sociable and like to spend time with others. The home can be quite loud at times, so would be best suited to someone who can get along well with others and tolerate a busy environment.
People are supported to integrate with their wider community through accessing nearby transport, shops, and education facilities and to become more independent. They develop a range of domestic skills such as budget planning and finances, meal planning, shopping, and cooking.
Everyone has different needs and preferences, but everybody gets on well and enjoys each other’s company. A typical day may include people engaging in their own individual activities and then coming together in the evenings to enjoy dinner and catch up with one another. The support team is long-serving and has worked together for many years, which benefits people living here as they have familiarity.
