Thoughtfully designed homes for independent living

Located in Kemsley, Sittingbourne is a supported living home for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism spectrum conditions transitioning from residential care or the family home.

The home promotes independence and supports people in accessing further education, employment, social and recreational activities. Person-centred transition plans are developed for each person to build on their domestic skills and become more independent in all areas of their lives. Team members are available 24 hours a day and work closely with people supported, families and health care professionals in order to provide the best support.

A safe and supportive place to call home

This home is a large detached house with six bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. There are communal areas where people socialise, including a large lounge, kitchen and dining area, which has direct access out onto a secure rear garden.

The home is close to local shops and community facilities, with good transport links.

Lifestyle

People living here are supported to participate in a range of activities, including walking, eating out, arts and crafts, swimming and cinema trips, to name a few. Additionally, several people regularly enjoy gardening and keep the garden beautifully tidy.

The home actively encourages people to build on their independence, and currently, some attend a local day service and are looking for employment.
