About this home

Ransdale House is a specialist residential care home, without nursing, in Middlesbrough that provides 24-hour support to six men and women over the age of 18. People we support are deaf, deafblind, or have hearing loss. They may also have additional complex needs, including learning and physical disabilities, mental ill-health and behaviour that could be described as challenging.

Ransdale House is a warm and friendly home where every person we support has the opportunity to live the life they want, with a support package designed around their individual needs. They also play an active part in the running of Ransdale House, meeting regularly to provide the team with feedback, to help plan menus, and make decisions about activities they’d like to do, and holidays they’d like to take.
