About this support setting

Thoughtfully designed for independent living

Millfield House offers specialist support for adults with learning disabilities, autism and other neurodivergent conditions. People may present with complex communication difficulties, sensory processing issues, behaviours which may challenge or secondary mental health conditions.  The attractive Edwardian house is set within beautiful grounds in the peaceful village of Colsterworth, Lincolnshire.

A key part of our home is helping people supported engage with the local community, and Colsterworth offers a thriving environment where they can actively participate in village life.

Lifestyle

The home and grounds are designed to meet their complex needs, offering both privacy and access to communal spaces for recreation and skill development.

People supported receive support with all daily activities and decision-making, with team members balancing encouragement and the option to opt out. Activities include gardening, community volunteering, work experience, and learning essential life skills such as money management, cooking, and nutrition, all aimed at fostering independence and boosting self-confidence.
