Lifestyle
At Mandalay, we are delighted to host a range of in-house activities such as board games, colouring, painting, and folder work, which helps build reading, writing and understanding skills. Our trained team of professionals look to encourage and develop people we support so that they grow in confidence with each activity.
Every month, our dedicated team hosts a pamper night where all people we support enjoy foot masks, face masks and a good old relaxation session. It’s the perfect way to end the month.
We often host barbecues, picnics and group activities in the spacious gardens, which is a great way of building the community spirit within the home.
Our passionate team also encourage as many activities as possible, including trips to a day centre, Sea Life Centre, local zoo, and community walks. Every person we support picks their own trips daily or weekly, allowing for a varied schedule of activities – no two weeks are the same.
