Garthowen is a residential service for adults aged 18-65 with learning disabilities, dementia, physical difficulties, epilepsy and/or communication issues. The service also provides palliative and end-of-life care with a focus on privacy, dignity and respect.
The service provides support to individuals, whilst working alongside health and social care professionals to ensure people have access to specialist expertise as required, such as psychiatry behavioural management and occupational therapy. A person-centred planning approach is used, tailored towards the individual and focused on positive outcomes. People are also supported to access the community and take part in leisure activities that enrich their daily lives.Download Brochure
