Two grateful Home Managers in Holly’s region nominated her for this award, for her amazing and endless support, motivation, and leadership. She is a role model for everyone, helping with domestic tasks when an extra pair of hand is needed. That she takes time to learn team members’ names and always interacts with people supported is also much appreciated.
One person wrote: “As a new manager having such an open and supportive person on the other end of the phone has been invaluable. Holly’s dedication to her role and bettering the lives of people we support is the driving force behind what she does, and this is recognised by all. It would mean so much to be able to share with Holly just how much she is valued by her managers for all that she does.”
Both nominations mention how Holly has been influential in the excellent outcomes of people supported in homes within her region. “Holly has a positive and can-do outlook to her role, striving and supporting her managers to excel and be the best,” says her second nomination. “This is evidenced by the homes who throughout the year have won regional awards. Three of these have won 5 out of the 6 categories for the 2024 Regional Heroes Awards, showing what good leadership and support can accomplish.”
