Congratulations to our Wheel of Engagement 2021/22 winners

Well done to everyone involved

At the end of last year, all Achieve together homes were asked to complete a self-assessment on how well they supported people according to different spokes of the Wheel of Engagement, with support from their Regional Manager.

Heads of Operations and Operations Directors then selected the three most consistently outstanding homes in each of the seven areas of Achieve together. The homes were then invited to do a presentation in front of a judging panel consisting of representatives from the Executive Team, Operations Directors, Heads of Operations, and Unity, evidencing key Wheel of Engagement successes for people we support.

All presentations were exceptional – teams shared incredible achievements and outcomes for people, creative ideas, outstanding resilience in the face of adversities, and people at the very heart of their support, and in control of their own lives.

The judges were so impressed and inspired by the hard work of all of the teams that the initial plan of picking one winner in every area became impossible. So instead, all 21 homes who presented are now winners of the Wheel of Engagement Celebration. Congratulations to all the wonderful support teams here, and all our support teams for such great work over the course of 2021.

Next month we launch a revised and improved Wheel of Engagement, as a focal point for our person-centered support. In the meantime, thank you all for taking part in the survey, and for the amazing outcomes, people are achieving across Achieve together.

The winners of the Wheel of Engagement Celebration 2022 are White Lodge, Oaklands, Withersfield Lodge, Arcadian Gardens, Hervey Road, Hersham Road, Irchester 2, Hayway, Cransley, Stubbington Lane, Douglas House, Cedars Hampshire, Roseville, Arrowe Hall, Sandylee, Cedars Monmouthshire, Ty Coedwig, Garthowen, Ashley Phoenix, Dyke Road, and Wilbury Gardens.
