Celebrating our June Team Member of the Month: Blessing Obadare

Congratulations to Blessing Obadare, Practice Lead at Cheam Road, who was nominated by a fellow team member and family member of a person we support for being a shining example of person-centred care at Achieve together.

Blessing has made a real difference to the lives of people we support at Cheam Rd, taking the time to get to know their preferences, likes and dislikes and empowering them to achieve their goals.

The impact of Blessing’s hard work and commitment doesn’t stop there – a true team player, she has encouraged her fellow team members to have confidence in themselves and try new approaches, creating a culture of best practice and self-improvement in the home.

A family member of a person Blessing supports said: ‘In the 6 months that Blessing has been appointed as my sister’s Key Worker, she has developed a very positive, fruitful and professional relationship with her. Blessing has led the team at Cheam Rd to implement my sister’s healthy eating plan and has also made progress in implementing her PBS plan. Blessing also treats me fairly, with objectivity and with respect as a brother and next of kin.’
