Celebrating a quarter of achievement across Achieve together
Achieve together is proud to reflect on a remarkable first quarter of the 2026 financial year, marked by industry recognition, regulatory success, operational improvements, clinical excellence, and significant milestones across the organisation.
The quarter showcased the dedication, expertise and passion of our teams, whose commitment continues to make a positive difference in the lives of the people we support.
Industry Recognition and Awards Success
We were delighted to receive recognition across multiple prestigious industry awards.
Achieve together was named among the Financial Times UK’s Best Employers Top 500 for a second consecutive year and celebrated success at the Stars of Social Care Teams Awards in The Head Office Heroes and Talent Seekers Awards.
In addition, our teams were recognised as finalists across several leading industry awards, including the HealthInvestor Awards, Dimensions Leaders’ Awards, National Diversity Awards, and the Learning Disabilities and Autism Awards.

Strong Regulatory Performance
Quality remains at the heart of everything we do, and this quarter saw excellent regulatory outcomes across our homes.
Highfields and Valleyview in Derbyshire both achieved ‘Outstanding’ ratings from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Several homes achieved ‘Good’ CQC ratings, including Richmond House (Pontefract), Woodbridge House (Kent), 170 Irchester (Northamptonshire), Mill House (Norfolk), 1 Fengates Road (Surrey), and Cornerleigh (Hampshire).
In Wales, Arrow House (Wrexham), Pen Y Hill (Abergavenny), and DSS Gwent (Hengoed) received positive Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) outcomes.
Advancing Safety and Operational Excellence
Our focus on safety and continuous improvement delivered measurable results during the quarter.
Highlights included a 25% reduction in RIDDOR incidents and a 407% increase in near miss reporting, demonstrating stronger safety awareness and reporting culture across the organisation.
We also conducted an organisation-wide fire drill for Fire Safety Awareness Day, became a supporting member of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, introduced Holman as our new fleet partner, and began the rollout of the Sona workforce management platform.
In addition, we launched the Achieve together Standard, made up of 10 key standards and Home Plans to support greater consistency and quality across our services.

Delivering Care Quality and Clinical Excellence
We continue to invest in delivering the highest standards of care and support.
This quarter, Achieve together transitioned to a Clinical Model that ensures every operational area has access to a Registered Nurse, helping people receive gold-standard healthcare within their communities.
Pass+Port, our Positive Behaviour Support training programme, achieved accreditation from BILD, further strengthening our commitment to best practice.
We also expanded our Mental Health First Aid capability with 30 new Mental Health First Aiders.
Investing in Our People and Culture
Our people remain our greatest strength.
During the quarter, we celebrated International Women’s Day by highlighting inspirational team member from across the organisation and marked Neurodiversity Celebration Week through six team member blogs sharing personal experiences and insights.
Learning at Work Week featured 18 learner-to-learner sessions, creating valuable opportunities for knowledge sharing and development.
We were also pleased to welcome Alice Dixie as our new General Counsel & Company Secretary and member of our Senior Leadership Team.

Brand Growth
March marked a major milestone as Achieve together celebrated its 30th anniversary on the 10th March 2026.
Alongside this celebration, we launched our refreshed brand identity, reflecting our continued evolution and ambition for the future.
We also expanded our services with the opening of Ty Gwyndy, a new residential home in Wales, creating further opportunities to support people to live healthy, happy and meaningful lives.
These achievements demonstrate the collective impact of our teams across the organisation. As we move into the next quarter, we remain focused on delivering exceptional support, investing in our people, maintaining high-quality standards, and continuing to make a positive difference in the communities we serve.
Thank you to every team member whose dedication and hard work made these achievements possible.
