At Achieve together, we believe that learning and development are at the heart of delivering outstanding care. As we celebrate National Apprenticeship Week, we are proud to highlight one of the many benefits of working with us, our apprenticeship programme.

Apprenticeships are fully funded, nationally recognised qualifications that allow team members to earn while they learn. They provide structured, meaningful development opportunities while colleagues continue to make a real difference in the lives of people we support. They are delivered on behalf of Achieve together by Paragon Skills.

We offer apprenticeships across Health & Social Care, administration and management, ensuring team members at every stage of their career have access to professional development.  Blending hands-on experience with structured learning, our programmes help build confidence, competence and career progression. Currently, we have 500 Team Members enrolled on apprenticeships from across the organisation, completing a range of levels.

Dawn Buchanan-Hole, Learning and Development Manager at Achieve together, said:

“Completing an apprenticeship at Achieve together opens the door to a career where every day has purpose, possibility and real human impact. It’s a chance to learn from experienced professionals, gain nationally recognised qualifications and grow in confidence while supporting people to live fulfilling, independent lives.”

Why do we encourage apprenticeships?

At Achieve together, apprenticeships provide our team members with:

  • The opportunity to develop skills aligned to their career aspirations
  • A supportive and structured learning environment
  • Increased confidence and improved performance
  • Greater opportunities for progression within the organisation.

Case Study: Yudayah Nanono: Level three Health and Social Care Apprenticeship

“The apprenticeship course that I did was arranged in a way that aligned with what we are doing in our job. What I liked most was that I gained more skills and became more confident in my work — I now feel like someone others can come to for support.

“The Personal Tutor and Workshop Tutor were so lovely and were there for me any time I needed. Overall, Paragon was really good and helpful to me. The activities set were really helpful in making my work easier and I really enjoyed the workshops.”

We are incredibly proud of colleagues like Yudayah who embrace development opportunities and continue to grow their careers with Achieve together.
