Thoughtfully designed for independent living
Located in South Norwood, London, this is a supported living home for adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and behaviours that may challenge.
The support is highly person-centred, with the team focused on supporting people to live their best lives through offering people choices and opportunities. People are supported to pursue their interests and to achieve their aspirations and goals with exceptional results.
People have told CQC they thought the support they receive to achieve their aspirations and goals is outstanding.
The team go above and beyond to empower people to access specialist health and social care support in the community, and people experience exceptional outcomes as a result. The team actively encourage people to be as independent as they can be and have control over their own lives.
The team support people to choose and take part in activities that develop social, communication and life skills, with the aim of ultimately increasing independence. These range from support in daily life skills such as shopping through to driving lessons, college placements, voluntary work experience and paid work placements.

What we offer
A safe and supportive place
This is a spacious home comprising of nine individually accessed en-suite flats designed to enable people to become more independent. If people wish to socialise, there’s also plenty of shared space in the living room, dining room, larger kitchen facility, laundry room and garden.
The home is within easy walking distance of the train station, bus stops, restaurants, leisure centres, parks and supermarkets.

Lifestyle
People here are supported to take part in a wide range of leisure activities in order to build on skills.
Many are part of the gardening committee. They have been taught how to use different machinery to manage the upkeep of the garden.
The people here are an active bunch and regularly take part in gym sessions, horse riding, cycling and their weekly football practice.
