Lifestyle

This home could be described as a warm, welcoming, relaxed,  and calm environment. Everybody living in this home sees and treats each other as family. Often, people get together to cook and eat meals together.

People here love to celebrate and throw parties and get together for all occasions! Family members and visitors are welcome to join.

People are supported to take part in a wide range of activities both in the home and in the wider community. Examples of leisure activities that people are involved with include frequent arts and crafts sessions, magic music, computer classes, golf, cricket, and swimming, as well as boccia, a game similar to sports and specially formulated for the Paralympics!

There is a large leisure centre nearby with a swimming pool and rock climbing wall, among other activities.

The team encourage the development of independent living skills such as meal preparation, grocery shopping, self-care and budgeting. People are also supported in identifying and maintaining any paid work, voluntary placements and/or educational placements.

This home would be suitable for someone who is sociable, calm, and relaxed.
