Thoughtfully designed for independent living
Mellieha is a specialist residential home providing dedicated support for people with complex conditions such as autism, dementia, learning disabilities, attachment disorders, schizophrenia, and varying degrees of mental health conditions.
We offer specialist Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), with our trained DBT Champions providing person-centered support to help individuals manage change, regulate emotions, and develop coping strategies for challenging thoughts and behaviours. Every manager at Mellieha is trained in DBT, ensuring a deep understanding of how this therapy benefits both the people we support and the wider team.
We take pride in the positive feedback we receive from families. One relative shared how happy they were with the care their loved one receives. Another described the team as consistent and dedicated, always going the extra mile. A family member also told us, “They know what they’re doing,” adding, “[My family member] has done so well here, much better than expected.” Another simply said, “I couldn’t wish for anything better.”

A safe and supportive place
Inside the home, there are five spacious bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, offering both comfort and privacy. The home also features a large games room, a shared dining room, a welcoming living room, and a fully equipped kitchen where people can develop their cooking skills. Outside, the sensory garden provides a peaceful and engaging space for relaxation, socialising, and outdoor activities.
