About this support setting

Thoughtfully designed for independent living

This supported living home in Sutton, designed for adults with learning disabilities, emotional needs, forensic backgrounds, and mental health challenges. This spacious semi-detached property offers six en-suite bedrooms, providing both comfort and privacy.

Our dedicated team works closely with individuals, families, and professionals to create personalised care plans that focus on meaningful short- and long-term outcomes. We actively encourage people supported to engage in enriching activities and employment, ensuring high-quality care and support.

With a person-centered approach, we empower people supported to reach their full potential, fostering independence through positive risk-taking and community involvement. Many people supported have successfully transitioned to more independent living with reduced support levels, demonstrating the effectiveness of our approach.

We tailor each support package to meet individual needs, facilitating access to vocational activities, college, and voluntary or paid work opportunities. Our team is trained to provide specialised care, ensuring the least restrictive and most personalised support is maintained.

Collaboration with healthcare and social care professionals—including Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, and Positive Behaviour Support Specialists—helps us deliver the best outcomes for each individual.

Our team is available 24/7 to assist with daily tasks, such as cooking, laundry, employment support, and building independence. We also offer supported sleeping arrangements, with a waking night team member always on hand.

Lifestyle

People are supported to engage in activities that promote independence, communication, and social skills, including daily tasks like household chores and meal preparation. We also encourage individuals to explore work experience or paid opportunities to enhance their quality of life and develop new skills.

The home fosters a vibrant communal atmosphere, with shared spaces like the kitchen, lounge, dining area, and conservatory. These areas are flexible and can be adapted into a games room, sensory room, or quiet space, tailored to meet the unique needs of the people we support.

Located in the lively Sutton area, the town center is just ten minutes away, offering easy access to shops, restaurants, and leisure activities such as the cinema. Excellent transport links to central London and surrounding areas provide a wide range of opportunities and experiences.

We assist individuals in finding paid or voluntary work and encourage active participation in the broader community. This may include joining social groups, gym sessions, football, cinema outings, or enjoying BBQs. The home caters to individuals who are largely independent, capable of verbal communication, and managing most daily tasks, but may benefit from support with managing finances, medication, or accessing the community.

Our focus is on empowering people to pursue their interests, whether that’s heading into town, receiving help with daily tasks, or enjoying various activities at home. This creates a supportive environment where individuals can thrive and live fulfilling lives.

For convenient public transport, the home is on a bus route to the town center, and Sutton train station, just 0.6 miles away, offers direct connections to London Bridge, Victoria, and surrounding areas.
