Newly refurbished, this supported living home in Sutton provides accommodation and support for adults with autism spectrum conditions, learning disabilities and/or behaviours that may challenge, epilepsy, emotional needs, and mental health. The experienced team provide a person-centred planning approach that aims to increase independence and maximise the quality of life.

Support is provided that enables people to identify and maintain educational placements and/or employment and take part in social and leisure activities within the community, building and increasing people’s confidence in their social and communication skills.

The support team are available 24 hours a day to support in all aspects of daily life, from cooking and laundry, support finding employment, understanding bills and increasing independence, supporting friendships and a wide range of other day-to-day activities. We can accommodate supported sleeping, and there will always be a waking night team member on hand.

What we offer

This is a large semi-detached property with six en-suite bedrooms, all fully adapted to suit sensory requirements. Socialising is encouraged, with plenty of communal space available, including the kitchen, lounge, dining area, and conservatory.

People will also be able to take advantage of the large spaces that can be converted into a games room, sensory room or quiet room, depending on the needs of those supported.

Situated in a vibrant area in Sutton, the town centre is only ten minutes away, with access to local shops, restaurants and leisure activities such as the cinema. There are also ideal transport links to central London and surrounding areas, which means there’s scope to support a wide variety of opportunities and experiences.

Lifestyle

The friendly and skilled team support people to take part in activities that develop social, communication and life skills. This includes basic life skills such as cooking, meal preparation and household tasks. People are also supported in identifying and maintaining any college placements, voluntary work experience and/or paid work placements.

Each person is supported to develop their own individualised pictorial activity chart to communicate their choices on a daily basis and play an active role in their own lives.
