Thoughtfully designed for independent living

This supported living home in Sapley supports adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. The team provide 1:1 support during the day and are able to support sleep-ins where required.

The support team specialise in supporting people to increase their independence, with person-centred support, promoting choice and independence that empowers and enables people to develop and maintain skills to give them opportunities and freedom to be as independent as possible. People are supported to take part in a wide range of activities as well as to engage in their wider community.

What we offer

A safe and supportive place

This home is a large, spacious bungalow with a specifically designed kitchen and bathroom with adapted facilities for wheelchair users. There are five bedrooms, three with en-suite facilities, and the remaining two bedrooms have a shared bathroom.

There is a large open-plan lounge/dining area, which can be divided into two separate areas via a vinyl screen when required. The bungalow also has a private garden with a patio and barbecue area, which is perfect for social events, especially in the summer.

Situated in Sapley, close to local restaurants, pubs and supermarkets, the home has great transport links into surrounding areas.

Lifestyle

People are supported to increase their living skills and independence with a view to assisting people to live on their own in the community. This includes budget planning, support with finances, meal planning and household tasks.

People are also supported to take part in a range of social and leisure activities which can increase confidence and build on skills, such as day centre activities, swimming, bowling, meals out, pub trips and various day trips. People will also be supported to go on any holidays.
