This light and spacious specialist supported living home in Hove supports adultswith learning disabilities, mental health needs, communication and behaviours that may challenge. People are supported to develop person-centred plans that promote increased choice, control over their lives and independence.

People are supported to take part in meaningful activities that enrich their lives and build on skills. The support team assist people in identifying and maintaining any work placements, education and/or volunteering as well as integrating well within their community.

What we offer

This beautiful home is a large semi-detached Victorian house with six en-suite bedrooms. There are plenty of communal spaces to socialise, including a living room, a garden and a large kitchen with a dining area and laundry facilities.

Situated in Hove, it is a ten-minute walk from Brighton town centre, where a wide range of local community facilities can be accessed. It is also a short walk from the beach. Brighton and Hove stations have excellent train links to central London and nearby coastal towns.

Lifestyle

The team support people to take part in a wide range of activities that can help build skills and confidence. Examples of leisure activities include tai chi, badminton, gardening, accessing the community, day centre activities and visits to gyms.

People will also be supported in the development of daily life skills such as meal preparation, grocery shopping, self-care, budgeting and domestic skills with a view to moving on to more independent living in the future.

The team support people in identifying and maintaining any education placements, volunteering and/or paid work experience where possible.
