Thoughtfully designed for independent living

Located in Dorking, this is a 24-hour, adapted, supported living home for adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities and additional health and mobility needs.

The team has experience in supporting peoples’ transition from long-stay hospital and residential environments into supported living and has worked closely with families and existing support networks in doing so. The home has experience in supporting a range of health needs, including Diabetes, Epilepsy, Dementia, and continence support.

This home has been commended by social services, health professionals and family for its good work in supporting people.

What we offer

A safe and supportive place

This is a large, spacious home for up to eight adults. The home is spread over three floors, which are accessible via a lift. All bedrooms are en-suite and individually tailored to the needs and preferences of people living there.

The home is located a short distance from the mainline stations and local bus services, which provide good links to a wide range of local community facilities and Central London.

Lifestyle

People here are supported to lead active lives in order to increase social and communication skills. They take part in a wide range of leisure activities, both within the community and at home. In-house activities include regular art and music therapy sessions and aromatherapy.

The home has a strong connection with the local community, with people attending church every Sunday. Everyone is well known at the local restaurants, cafes and local shops.

People enjoy swimming and often use accessible bikes. Day trips include a day at Hobble Down Farm and Chessington World of Adventures.
