What we offer
A safe and supportive place
Rogerstone House is a spacious property with six bedrooms. There are multiple communal areas so people can socialise with others, including a living room, kitchen/diner, an additional music room/communal area and a large garden.
People are able to and encouraged to decorate and personalise their rooms in order for them to express themselves.
Rogerstone House is situated on the outskirts of Newport, South Wales. The home is situated off of a main road but sits within a quiet area. The home is in the centre of the local community and a short bus ride from Newport town centre, where a wide range of local community facilities can be accessed. Newport has excellent train and bus links to central Cardiff and surrounding areas.
We’re not just participants. We’re planners, presenters, and leaders.

Lifestyle
Rogerstone House offers a range of activities designed to promote independence and build on social and communication skills.
Individuals enjoy a wide variety of sports and leisure activities, including pedal power, cinema trips, meals out, swimming and bowling. Individuals are also supported to participate in a number of day trips to local facilities such as shopping and garden centre visits.
People living at this home love to spend time in the garden when the weather allows; they enjoy BBQs together, garden parties, and sports events.
People currently living in this home all have outgoing and unique personalities, and they all have a great relationship with each other. Due to everybody having an outgoing personality, it can sometimes get noisy and lively, with some behaviours that others find challenging, but people can retreat to their bedrooms for some alone or quiet time.
