About this home

Pippin House is a specialist residential home, without nursing, in Newton Abbot, Devon. This home provide 24-hour support to seven deaf and/or deafblind adults. People we support have a range of diverse and sometimes complex needs, including learning and physical disabilities and mental ill-health.

We specialise in supporting people towards living more independently – according to their abilities – by helping them to make the most of existing skills and develop new ones.

Our team members, who provide one-to-one support, are fully trained to meet individual needs. We all use British Sign Language (BSL), and our “total communication” approach means that we develop a personalised strategy for communication
