Maldon House is a residential home for adults with autism spectrum conditions, moderate to severe learning disabilities, complex needs including behaviours that may challenge, emotional needs, complex health needs and epilepsy.

Maldon House supports people to live a full and active life with a focus on becoming more independent and learning new skills. Each resident has an individual activity plan tailored around their likes and dislikes to ensure that they participate in meaningful activities both within the service and in the wider community.

What we offer

Maldon House is a large property that can accommodate ten adults all in en-suite bedrooms with two further bathrooms available. The house is very loud and lively and full of sociable residents. There are large communal areas within the house, plus a well-maintained garden that houses a sensory room, which is tailored to the needs of individuals.

Maldon House is situated in a quiet residential area in Seaford, within walking distance of the seafront and local amenities. Train and bus services are close to the house. Buses run at ten-minute intervals, and rail services to Lewes, Brighton, London and Eastbourne operate from the local train station.

Lifestyle

Individuals at Maldon House enjoy going to the cinema and theatre, bowling, swimming, crazy golf and visiting the Bluebell Railway for trips on the steam trains. Every two months, they go to the Blue Camel Club in Brighton, organised by adults with a learning disability, where they enjoy activities, including live bands and discos.

At Maldon House itself, the garden is used for relaxation and physical activities such as trampolining, garden games and socialising. There is a sensory cabin housing a full range of sensory equipment that is used for relaxation and aromatherapy.
