This large, detached home in West Sussex has recently undergone refurbishment offering 24-hour supported living for adults with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) and associated complex needs. Our person-centred approach ensures that support is tailored to individual needs, promoting independence and encouraging people supported to lead fulfilling lives. We motivate people supported to actively participate in decision-making about their care and daily activities.

The home features six en-suite bedrooms, each equipped with private wet rooms, ceiling tracking, and hoist coverage. Designed for 2:1 support, the rooms provide ample floor space and turning space for wheelchair users, along with built-in hoists, nurse call systems, and lift access. Ground floor apartments include patio doors that open to the outdoor space, enhancing well-being through a connection with nature.

The bright and modern kitchen, fitted with high and low countertops, remains open to encourage people supported to participate in meal preparation, cooking, and baking. The home boasts spacious gardens, sensory spaces, a newly decorated communal lounge, and substantial storage to maintain a tidy, modern atmosphere. An in-house medical room is available for any required care, and a separate bathroom features a Parker bath.

Our team is highly trained in specialist PMLD support, focusing on maximising independent living skills. Each person supported follows a personal daily outcome plan and a weekly activity schedule to ensure engagement in meaningful activities both at home and in the local community.

For day trips, the home has two vehicles: a people carrier and a wheelchair-adapted vehicle. Conveniently, two train stations are within walking distance, and there is an excellent bus service nearby, ensuring easy access to local amenities and transport options.
