Thank you to everyone who completed a nomination for our Heroes Awards. We had almost 450 entries from team members and family members across the regions.
So many of the nominations were of very high quality and would have made deserving finalists. It was a very difficult task indeed to select just a few in each of the seven award categories.
The judges included team members, family members, adult social care professionals from outside the organisation and representatives from Unity. They were all so impressed with the Heroes Award nominations, which told stories of the high calibre support being delivered and the wonderful outcomes. These finalists, whatever award they were nominated for, have one thing in common – they all exemplify the Achieve together values of Having fun, valuing everyone, making things happen and being brave.
Congratulations to all our regional winners! They have been invited to an awards ceremony on 25 April in Reading where we will announce and celebrate the winners.
