Our July activities have included celebrating Pride Inside and more. Let’s see how our homes have been having fun during the lockdown.
Pride Inside July
First of all, we have Meesons Lodge celebrating Pride Inside with their own mini carnival. They danced, made costumes and had a great time!
Next up, Holmesdale had fun making Arts and Crafts and cakes for their own small Pride party.
Grenville gathers together for a fab time playing party games with “rainbow” food and drinks. Kay & John enjoyed helping to arrange this and love being supported by an LGBT team.
Meadow View had a Rainbow-themed craft session.
Rivendell had a busy first weekend of July making their own experiments and lighting up the front of their care home to celebrate 75 years of NHS.
Lee from Ty Coedwig made a birdhouse for their garden this. He built it from wood and painted.
Meanwhile, the rest of Ty Coedwig share pictures of their first Harvest. They’ve been following our Gardening suggestions found here.
Sarah at Meadowview shows off her amazing nail art skills.
Manor Barn put on a great party for Patrick and Ian’s birthdays. It included cakes, lights, music and even their housemates dressing up.
Shane and Zara from Acorn House have fun reliving Wimbledon by going Strawberry picking for afternoon tea.
Wimbledon Recreated
Midway through June Achieve together encouraged the people we support to have their own mini Wimbledon.
Abbas from Heathdene makes some Tennis Ball cookies to celebrate Wimbledon.
