January 2021 – What have our homes been up to?

Check out what the people we support got up to in January.

To kick off the New Year, the people we support at Mill House went for a nice walk around the village and enjoyed some fresh air.

Lise from Robins Way received her new mutability car from Fords. After a long wait due to COVID-19, she’s absolutely thrilled to finally have her car. Congratulations to Lise!

Our Bower Mount Road team ensured the people we support had an amazing New Years! Due to the restrictions, this was the first year that individuals stayed at the service. Our incredible team were on hand to make sure everyone had the best time possible!

Kay from Ty Nant kept in touch with her mum by making and posting this lovely card. What a creative idea!

Despite lockdown and some ongoing challenges, team member Louise has completed her Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship. Many congratulations!

Jen, Kate, Becky and Jamie from Estann House welcomed the new Deputy Manager Shelley to their home and celebrated the promotion of Marteen as Lead Support Worker. It was safe to say there were cheers all around!

Joe from The Lodge had a great start to the New Year. He felt it was finally the right time to visit his GP to have his flu jab and get blood taken. Well done Joe!

Our team at Hazelwood House created an incredible sensory room for the people we support!

Daisy from Rivendell celebrated her 21st birthday! She enjoyed her special milestone birthday with a buffet, karaoke and disco!

Gordon became Valley Road‘s new Health and Safety rep! He’s been so helpful that our team felt he deserved a special mention, a badge and a sticker. A huge well done to Gordon!
