Walderslade House is a supported living service for young people aged 18-65 with learning disabilities and or autism spectrum conditions in the transition from residential college, foster care or the family home.
The service is able to support individuals from the age of 18 as part of a transitional model of support we promote at Achieve together. In each case, we would work closely with all parties to ensure an agreed approach is put in place to help an individual make that transition on to adulthood a positive one.
The service promotes independence and supports young people to access further education, employment, social and recreational activities. Person-centred transition plans are developed for each individual to develop their budgeting skills and to become more independent in all areas of their lives.
