Manor Barn supports male adults with enduring mental health needs, learning difficulties and/or autism spectrum conditions who would benefit from living in their own space with a bespoke care package to suit their needs, plus background support for more independent individuals in the main property.

Manor Barn is experienced in managing challenging behaviours and provide more complex individuals with their own team for consistency and development of quality relationships. People are supported to live as independently as possible, and take part in a range of meaningful activities that enrich their lives and build on their skills.

What we offer

Manor Barn is a newly developed property with 5 large en-suite bedrooms, a self-contained first floor flat with its own front door and a ground floor, wheelchair accessible flat. There are a number of large communal areas and a spacious kitchen so people have the opportunity to socialise if they wish. Outside there are large grounds, including a seating area and a patio with buildings for bikes or outdoor equipment.

The location of Manor Barn is ideal, providing great access to all surrounding towns including Chester, Wirral, and Liverpool. Neston has a range of facilities including shops, a post office, the village hall, public houses, a church and a library.

Lifestyle

Manor Barn supports individuals to participate in a range of activities including budget planning and finances, meal planning, shopping and household tasks, establishing community links and promoting self-advocacy and support in accessing health services.

Individuals are also supported to take part in a range of leisure activities that build on their communication and social skills. This includes cinema trips, arts and crafts, shopping, meals out in local restaurants, pub trips and day trips in to surrounding areas.

People have made great progress at Manor Barn inducing one individual, who has been struggling with his weight for years, achieving his goal weight after attending slimming world.
