Barron Winnicott is a residential care home, without nursing, in Bath that provides short – and long-term care and support to eight men and women, aged 18 and over. The people we support are deaf and have a range of support needs, including learning disabilities, low emotional confidence, mental ill-health and complex communication needs. This can mean that some people express themselves through their behaviour. The people we support come from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
We get to know every person we support very well and work with them and their family and support network to enable them to build on the independence they already have. We aim to support them to take on new challenges so that they can live more independently in their own communities in the future.Download Brochure
